Generations of Tradition: Recent Acquisitions of Work by Women Artists

In the last five years, TIMA has added over 100 works by women artists to its collection. This exhibition celebrates these new acquisitions, exploring the lineage of tradition—from literal familial connections, to artistic form, medium, and subject matter—passed down from generation to generation.

An exhibition of photographs by acclaimed American documentary photographer, Eugene Richards, of the Green-Wood cemetery in Brooklyn, New York. The photographs were taken between April 2020 and September 2023. Published in book form, this is the first public exhibition of these photographs.
