Eastport Summer Art School
The Eastport Summer School of Art operated in Eastport, Maine and was based in New York City. Founded and led by artist, George Pearse Ennis, the school began with an initial trial run in 1922 and ran in earnest from 1927 to 1936. In its early years, the summer school was affiliated with the Grand Central School of Art in New York City. The collection includes program booklets, photographs, correspondence and a short written history of the school.
