Pauline Inman Engravings
The Pauline Inman (1904-1990) collection contains a large number of wood engraving prints by the artist along with an equally large number of original engraved wood blocks carved by the artist. In 1929, Inman and her husband began to summer in South Addison along the eastern Maine coast of Washington County and they continued to summer there for the next 30 to 40 years. The surrounding coast and communities provided rich subject matter for her engravings and prints.
