Rae Braden (intaglio)

Thinking about the decline of a cultural era, I wanted to portray a narrative which conveys a sense of loss and a mood of suspended time. To achieve this I choose to use a heavily textured plate with multiple layers of embedded imagery. I am also expressing a sense of hope for the future beyond an impending darkness.
