31 Printmakers from MECA and NSCAD University map the Passamaquoddy Bay Region

In order to keep straight which logs belonged to whom, lumbermen created their own distinctive marks to carve into their logs before floating them down river to the mill. Any unmarked logs were claimed by the boom master and sold with the profits used to help maintain the mill.
