| JOHN JAMES AUDUBON, the celebrated naturalist and artist, embodies the flow of artists along the northeast coast of the United States and Canada that TIMA seeks to capture in its collections and programs. Hyperborean Phalarope, Eider Duck | AUDUBON twice came to Eastport, Maine and to Passamaquoddy Bay, in 1832 and 1833, to explore the waters found here and to search for new species of birds.
